Puzzle Piece Chalk Board
Leila wanted something simple to hold a sentimental puzzle piece. When I first inquired about this project, she told me she was thinking of a wall mounted chalk board with a simple wood frame but she was unsure of where to put the dove puzzle piece. Excited about my first CustomMade project, I quickly made her a 3d rendering showing her what I pictured. I thought the dove would look best in the upper right corner, so that it is flying over whats written on the board. She told me it was for her family to write out their daily wishes and worries. The dove is there watching over! She liked the placement of the puzzle piece, but wanted the frame thinner and lighter colored. I made up another rendering, and also threw in the idea of a groove across the top of the frame to hold chalk. My rendering showed a beveled frame, and Leila notified me that she wanted a more simple, flat frame like one she showed me in a picture. With that last modification, I began construction.

Nov 19, 2012In one word...AMAZING! We were on a tight time constraint to get a wooden sign with our logo on it for the front of our new retail store. While submitting our proposal to a few makers, we stared communicating with Sean and immediately knew he would be the perfect fit. Sean had extremely timely communication, immediately grasped our concept, had additional ideas that made the sign even better than we pictured, kept us updated on the progress daily, and produced a high quality product in a short time frame. We are proud that the sign he made for us is what welcomes customers to our store, and we would recommend his work to anyone!
