Everything that I asked for, Mike made it come to life. His communication and timeliness are top-notch. I'd alway hear back within a day. He used really nice hardware. From sturdy drawer slides that pulled all the way out to handles that went perfectly with the look of the desk. When I made design changes part way through the project, Mike was really flexible and reinforced the fact that he felt one should get exactly what they want on site called custommade.com. When you see details like the dovetailed drawers, you know that Mike is a real craftsman that loves his work. My desk is built to last and will get passed down for generations to come.

Mike understood my needs for a simple style for my table and the fact that it had to be easily accessible from two sides, as it was going into a double banquette. He also understood that it wasn't a "centerpiece" item like a dining room table, so I didn't want to spend tons of money on it. The communication was great, with pictures and message updates as each phase of the table was finished. When the table arrived, it was packed very thoroughly. I commissioned an oversized mission chair from Bungalow White Oak Furniture through Custom Made. I was hoping for a high quality piece that is very sturdy. Not only was I not disappointed but I was also quite pleased with the artistry of the composition. This was expressed in the form of all the parts as related to the pattern of the grain and of course the masterful wood working. The seat features three tiger stripes which really sets the chair apart from anything you could buy in a store. The clear finish adds a sheen as a wonderful enhancement. It will prove to be a valued heirloom for generations, I'm sure. I highly recommend this maker. Please, accept my gratitude for a job well done.

This project was a collaboration based on several pieces I liked, but lacked the features I wanted. We were able to come up with a design that is stunning. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in his suggestions to help create this perfect piece. It is a very well built piece that I believe will last for a lifetime (perhaps several). He was able to keep me well informed about the progress of the project with frequent picture updates. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this maker. He is highly recommended and I will strongly consider using him again for any new items.
