D'Arcy Couture
Darcy Fowkes has been sewing for over 40 years and making her own patterns for over two decades. She currently likes designing new fashion from existing garments, "turning the color of fashion greener every day."
New fashion can often come from our very own wardrobes! An old pair of pants can be re-fashioned into a new skirt by adding a favorite dress that does not fit anymore to the new skirt design. A favorite shirt from your husbands closet can be refashioned into a new dress. An old favorite sweater that you just cannot part with can become a yummy scarf.
Darcy has experimented with many garments, including t-shirts, to create many different garments. If there is a favorite item of clothing in your wardrobe that you would like refashioned, open up a conversation with her to see what she can do with it!

She incorporated all of the materials which were pretty extreme (tapestry, leather & fur) so that I ended up with what I wanted and her sewing skills are phenomenal. Thank you!
