Electroformed Fern And Copper Vase
This was made by glueing real fern leaves to a nine inch classic white vase. Coating it in a magnetic paint where I wanted the copper to go. Using a process called electroforming, where the item in submerged in a special solution and a direct current flowing through it. Copper was dissoved and reformed directly onto the time. This is a long slow process for an item this large. It was then heat treated in some areas to change the colors of the copper before finally sealing it to keep it perserved from further tarnishing.

The communication was excellent and questions were asked and enhancements addressed as requested. However I'm somewhat disappointed in final outcome in that there are several air bubbles that really take away from the beauty and finished look, quality and value. Would have paid more if I were assured of a better finished item. Somewhat surprised it was shipped with this obvious defect. It would have been nice if the opal moon had been placed a little further back in the glass as well but that is a more subjective observation and is only mentioned as preference and not a criticism. I left it to her expertise. Wow. she took my breath away! So very quickly, she offered three pendants to choose from, similar but slightly different. I had to buy two of the three because I just couldn't decide! I was hoping for a lovely pendant, but she created pieces that were so far beyond what I'd imagined possible. I gave one as a gift to my son. She captured my background story so completely, my son knew instantly what the pendant symbolizes. He was silent in his happy tears. Thank you, thank you. I look forward to another idea coming to life in her hands!

For Hand-Blown Glass Guitar Pick In Blue Swirls4.8I recently inquired about a custom made guitar pick from Breanna at Untamed Rose, and was promptly given full attention to my project and answers to my questions, including those not directly involved with her work but stumbling through the trouble I was having with the website. Very quickly we came up with a plan, and just after a coupla days the work was finished and pictures sent for approval. My ONLY complaint is probably due to more the nature of the material than the artist herself, as there is a slight bubble/imperfection in the glass that wasn't visible in the pictures.. But the overall aesthetic remains and I'm am so pleased. I would highly recommend this artist to anyone hunting on this site as Breanna proved to be very friendly, helpful, and prompt, and of course a wonderful artist!
