Salvaged, antique, white oak timber frame tenon fragment. Live edged walnut top. Reclaimed steel mid brace with welded end caps. Lots of patina here! I re-sawed the timber frame tenon to make the two legs of this bench/stool. The top of the stool is reclaimed walnut. Hand planed with miscellaneous size holes and shapes drilled through. Oil finish.

I have built multi-million dollar homes for Gene Fritzel Construction for 22 years. This has led me to my passion and what I think is my calling as a furniture designer/builder. I work in wood, metal and concrete as well as many other media. The pieces I have made recently have an industrial feel. I like to use reclaimed wood and iron pieces picked up from random places. Wood is my love!
