Hand Built Treasure Boxes
These boxes have Pine or hardwood bottoms and hardwood sliding tops. They are modeled on a box that was handed down in my Wife's family from 1838. The sides are nailed with rose head iron nails and glued. Some have suede bottoms in them. Many have sliding drawers inside that can lift out. Great jewelry boxes! You can have custom carving- dates or initials on them.

I am a one man shop in an old mill building in New Bedford, MA. I specialize in one of a kind hand work; carving, cabinets, furniture, cutting boards,carved spoons,architectural and sculptural carving. I have an Artistic background-a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design- which enriches my endeavors and helps to impart a unique quality to my work. I also have some forty years in all areas of woodworking; carpentry, building, theatrical and film set building,timber framing and historical reproductions. I paint and draw as well.
