In 1957, the Mayflower II sailed into Plymouth, Ma. Her hold was laden with logs of brown English oak. They took the logs and had them stamped, cut up and sold. A friend's father got two end slabs, took them home and stored them. She gave them to Me and I made two tables. The first went to Her and this is the second. The trestles is made of Beech and the stretcher is Black Walnut.The finish is six coats of rubbed gloss poly. A unique historic American artifact!

I am a one man shop in an old mill building in New Bedford, MA. I specialize in one of a kind hand work; carving, cabinets, furniture, cutting boards,carved spoons,architectural and sculptural carving. I have an Artistic background-a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design- which enriches my endeavors and helps to impart a unique quality to my work. I also have some forty years in all areas of woodworking; carpentry, building, theatrical and film set building,timber framing and historical reproductions. I paint and draw as well.
