Mango Wave
This little guy kicks off a body of work inspired by west African textile designs. Mango is the light wood, milo the dark. Lots of careful milling and delicate clamping required! Since grain and color can change quickly in a given board these pieces are made individually, with clamping jigs prepared fresh for each box. Lots of fun to play with different wood combinations and color schemes. Signed, dated, aromatic cedar lined and finished with Ultrasuede.
