Tim was an absolute pleasure to work with on my project. He went above and beyond to help me turn a drawing that I made into a physical object that I know I will treasure for years and generations to come. He is so knowledgable on his craft, so do not be afraid if you aren't aware of how wood and other materials work (I surely wasn't). I couldn't recommend him more. Worth every penny and more. Look no further!!!

LOVED the finished project! I worked with Timothy Lydgate on a very personal project. A Cremation urn for my husband to fit our future Resting spot in a Historic CA Mission. This was a "pre-need" Project, so time was not an issue, Quality was. It did take about a year from concept to arrival. But we were in touch the entire time. Timothy searched out the perfect grains and color combo and inlaid the woods from a few faves selected by My husband, he polished and then added Suede base and inset.Very clean work and My urn will rest nicely with his in the niche. A Very personal project for us, and Timothy respected the unusual request and did a fine job. I recommend him for any fine wood project!!

Woodcircus made an amazing custom box for a gift for me. He was timely, thorough, and very communicative. I would definitely recommend.

Tim was great in helping define my idea. The product is perfect and he was even willing to make a new one at his cost when mine went missing in the mail for a short time. Post office fault not Tim’s.

Timothy created a lovely and extremely special piece for us, and we couldn’t be more pleased!

It was a pleasure working with Tim. He is very professional and timely with communication. He takes the time inquire your needs and very detail-oriented to ensure you will receive the most unique and beautiful final product. My husband is incredibly hard to shop for, and Tim made the most original valet koa wood box with exquisite lining that took incredible craftsmanship--and my husband just loved it! Due to the detail required, the box did take slightly longer than expected (although, Tim was in communication about this), but it was definitely worth the wait. I would definitely work with Tim again, and highly recommend his craft. He is extremely talented.

Timothy Lydgate is a fantastic wood worker. His efforts to work with me when the post office made a mistake they wouldn't rectify were also greatly appreciated. If you want some wood art you can't go wrong picking Timothy Lydgate.

Timothy is fantastic at what he does. He made custom wedding gifts that my fiance and I had in mind for our guests, and he was absolutely incredible at communicating extremely quickly. (We were abroad at the time and even had nearly a full day's time difference between us for the duration of the project.) We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly he created 'prototype'/sample versions and sent pictures so we could further discuss the design and pricing. Absolutely incredible! He was very willing to work with us on pricing. We discussed ways the sanding could be done to better match the price point we had in mind. He was even willing to make a few extras (that he will hang onto), just in case we decide to purchase a few additional favors closer to the wedding! Since we are going to wait on staining the wood, he also gave us recommendations on which products to use for that. We highly recommend Timothy for any custom woodworking project! We couldn't have asked for better wedding favors. We can't wait to share them with our guests!

Working with Timothy was fantastic, I got exactly what I wanted and the box is beautiful. He shipped it to me the day I made payment and so the turnaround was great as well. The box is really well made, I can't wait to give it to my wife on our anniversary! Thank you, Timothy!
