Timothy created a lovely and extremely special piece for us, and we couldn’t be more pleased!

LOVED the finished project! I worked with Timothy Lydgate on a very personal project. A Cremation urn for my husband to fit our future Resting spot in a Historic CA Mission. This was a "pre-need" Project, so time was not an issue, Quality was. It did take about a year from concept to arrival. But we were in touch the entire time. Timothy searched out the perfect grains and color combo and inlaid the woods from a few faves selected by My husband, he polished and then added Suede base and inset.Very clean work and My urn will rest nicely with his in the niche. A Very personal project for us, and Timothy respected the unusual request and did a fine job. I recommend him for any fine wood project!!

Timothy is fantastic at what he does. He made custom wedding gifts that my fiance and I had in mind for our guests, and he was absolutely incredible at communicating extremely quickly. (We were abroad at the time and even had nearly a full day's time difference between us for the duration of the project.) We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly he created 'prototype'/sample versions and sent pictures so we could further discuss the design and pricing. Absolutely incredible! He was very willing to work with us on pricing. We discussed ways the sanding could be done to better match the price point we had in mind. He was even willing to make a few extras (that he will hang onto), just in case we decide to purchase a few additional favors closer to the wedding! Since we are going to wait on staining the wood, he also gave us recommendations on which products to use for that. We highly recommend Timothy for any custom woodworking project! We couldn't have asked for better wedding favors. We can't wait to share them with our guests!
