This inquisitive owl peering from his nest is hand carved and then painted with acrylics. I initially carve the owl in a solid piece of wood. The use of epoxy clay that is hand sculpted and carved to set the eyes gives each owl their own expression. I want to give each owl their own personality and hopefully add a bit of whimsy and nature to your home - The carving is approx 14"H X 9 "W X 2"D - Sealed with a protective urethane - Has a slot carved in the back so it hangs flat against the wall
