First off, I want to give a little background about my project. I tried to get a custom mantel made through Etsy. I sent countless emails to the builder with detailed dimensions and even photos of what I wanted. The builder would email me back once every few days, and seemed confused with just 3 simple dimensions that I requested. In the final email from the builder, I was told that my mantel would have to be built on site, and no further correspondence was excepted or answered. So at this point, I knew I had to go a different route. It took me numerous Google searches until I came across Custommade.com. (Custom Corners LLC. was the builder of my mantel) The correspondence with this builder was nothing short of spectacular. I believe the whole transaction from describing what I wanted, to paying for it, took only 3 days. I even changed the dimensions of what I wanted, twice, with no hassle whatsoever. How this mantel was built, finished, and packaged should be the blueprint of how business should be done. I cannot wait to hang this on my wall. The mantle shelf came today and is exactly what we wanted. the craftsman ship is excellent and the packaging was top notch. Correspondences during the process was always timely and the whole process was very simple and direct. From ordering to delivery. Will definitely use them again. For any other projects.

We are renovating our family room and needed a new mantel beam for our fireplace. We were frustrated working with a middle man, so we found and contacted Don and Heather, and asked them to make our new beam exactly to our specifications. They did, and it is beautiful! The craftsmanship is of the highest quality. It is exactly what we were looking for. We live in Minnesota, but working with a manufacturer in Missouri was not a problem at all.
