Rustic Fireplace Mantels
Rustic Hewn mantels made out of poplar or alder. You get to pick your size, color and amount of distressing. We constructed this out of 3/4" solid alder wood and 3/4" plywood for the top. It is glued and screwed together to make a sturdy mantel, yet lighter then a beam mantel. We provide a wood bracket, screws and instructions. Easy to install yourself. They will be stained with your choice of standard colors and either a black glaze or brown glaze to highlight the distressing and two coats of furniture grade finish that will not yellow over time. We are a truly custom cabinetry/furniture and woodworking shop, family owned and operated. Our online store specializes in custom fireplace mantels and floating shelves.
We really enjoy designing and building projects that are unique to each customer. We do everything from modern to rustic, one little end table or mantel, to cabinetry for the entire house. Our finishing process is stained, painted, glazed, antiqued, or anything in-between for the finishing touches and we use conversion varnish finish for the top coats. We can design something for you, or if you already have the design, we can build it!
