Custom Traditional Style Mantel
This mantel was built to fit the existing brick surround. It is made out of knotty alder wood with our 4 1/4" crown molding and 1 1/4" molding on the bottom edge. The color was discussed in detail and then we sent them out stain samples to choose the color in their own space and lighting. The finish is Toffee stain with black glaze and top coats of furnish finish in a dull rub sheen. Please contact us with details on your project and we will get you a price.

We are a truly custom cabinetry/furniture and woodworking shop, family owned and operated. Our online store specializes in custom fireplace mantels and floating shelves.
We really enjoy designing and building projects that are unique to each customer. We do everything from modern to rustic, one little end table or mantel, to cabinetry for the entire house. Our finishing process is stained, painted, glazed, antiqued, or anything in-between for the finishing touches and we use conversion varnish finish for the top coats. We can design something for you, or if you already have the design, we can build it!

For Cherry Modern Beam Fireplace Mantel.5.0First experience with Custommade, couldn’t possibly be more satisfied with Heather and Don. Two custom mantels both made it onto their upcoming batch, so less than 3 weeks from order to arrival. Heather reviewed photos of our installation rooms and custom-matched the mantels to our description. When we opened the boxes today, we were blown away at the color match and overall beauty. The grain, the finish, gorgeous. And speaking of packaging, I’ve never seen furniture packed this well. Each mantel packaged with a double box, inside of which is 3 or 4 industrial black styrofoam surrounds to fully isolate the mantels from the boxes. And inside of this, regular styrofoam around the mantels. Instructions and tightly secured hardware inside all that. Both units were flawless. Could t be happier!

For 6 foot walnut mantle - modern5.0Beautiful product and super easy to work with. Customer service and product shipment/packing were awesome too. The ONLY thing I'd change would be to have the pilot holes predrilled/countersunk in to the mantle itself. This would allow the screw heads to hide a bit more as you can see them slightly peaking out. However, once you decorate the mantle, you can't even tell. I'll definitely buy another one for our next house.
