Fireplace Mantel With Hidden Storage
Custom beam style fireplace mantel with a drop front for component storage. This mantel style features a drop front with soft-close hinges for storing items you would like to keep hidden. This one is in our hewn finish rustic style but we can build in any style & wood type that we offer, modern to rustic. We can also add a grommet to the mantel for cords to go up to your TV if needed. Size: 5 inches high x 7 inches deep x optional lengths. (Please contact us to make sure your electronics will fit inside as the sizing is adjustable) These can be customized in the size, wood, style, stain color, with or without distressing. Wood type available: Poplar, Knotty Alder, Maple, Cherry, Oak, walnut and Sapele. ***Please note pricing is for our poplar mantel, please contact me for pricing on other wood types.*** We constructed this out of 3/4" solid poplar wood. It is glued and screwed together to make a very strong mantel, yet lighter then a solid beam & also easy to install.

We are a truly custom cabinetry/furniture and woodworking shop, family owned and operated. Our online store specializes in custom fireplace mantels and floating shelves.
We really enjoy designing and building projects that are unique to each customer. We do everything from modern to rustic, one little end table or mantel, to cabinetry for the entire house. Our finishing process is stained, painted, glazed, antiqued, or anything in-between for the finishing touches and we use conversion varnish finish for the top coats. We can design something for you, or if you already have the design, we can build it!

For Floating Shelving With Brackets5.0I worked primarily with Heather on creating four custom floating shelves for a kitchen redesign in my home. Most floating shelves, especially larger ones, are 3" thick which wasn't going to work for my small kitchen. I needed narrower shelves (1 3/4") and one large uniform/ single-piece shelf over 100" in length. Heather was super responsive to my initial proposal request and was extremely helpful in walking through the needs and requirements of my project. We reviewed finishes and she had samples delivered to me within a couple of days. While I was not in a super big rush to get the finished product, I did need them delivered within 8 weeks. Heather not only completed the shelves in under two weeks, she personally delivered them to my home with her husband, Don (making a very long road trip from Missouri to Pittsburgh). This personal and unexpected touch probably saved me a few hundred dollars in shipping alone. The finished shelves and custom made brackets turned out beautifully. Working with Heather and Don exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I can't wait until they're installed (by September, hopefully) and will post photos of the shelves once the kitchen is complete. Overall, I'd highly recommend Heather and Don and would definitely seek them out for other custom projects!
