Fused Glass Salad Bowl Set
These bowls were made by fusing colored glass pieces and stringers onto a sheet of clear glass. The results were then slumped over a mold that was covered with overlapping pieces of kiln paper so the insides have a natural, organic, irregular look. They look great filled with green salad, chips, salsa, etc. Use for hot soups only after pre-warming them in an oven. Not dishwasher safe! Custom options include color choices and number of pieces.

Fused glass work is my primary focus, but I also work in leaded stained glass, found object sculpture, large abstract watercolors, and acrylic painting. I use glass to make custom lighting fixtures and chandeliers. Most of my material is scrap recycled from local leaded glass businesses. Musical themes predominate, but I am open to other imagery. I am able to incorporate text and personal photographs into my custom work.
In addition to glass, I make custom or reproduction lead castings for use with leaded glass panels.
