Inverted Tree Chandelier
This chandelier was made from an actual tree. It has 80 LED lights and over 400 crystals including 19 agates. All the wiring is fastened to the upper side of the branches and enters the trunk through a hole just above each branch. The interior is hollow to allow all the lights to be connected with leads exiting through the top of the root section. The lights are controlled with a wireless remote dimmer control. I transported and installed this one myself in a church in North Carolina. It measures about 72 x 84 x 42.

Fused glass work is my primary focus, but I also work in leaded stained glass, found object sculpture, large abstract watercolors, and acrylic painting. I use glass to make custom lighting fixtures and chandeliers. Most of my material is scrap recycled from local leaded glass businesses. Musical themes predominate, but I am open to other imagery. I am able to incorporate text and personal photographs into my custom work.
In addition to glass, I make custom or reproduction lead castings for use with leaded glass panels.

He was always making suggestions and giving ideas but made sure it was just what I wanted. David sent me tons of photos as we went along. Mr. Zvanut was able to melt it and recreate-he is a true artist. The project was swift and thorough. I received regular communication and pictures along the way. I stumbled upon David's glass art and was so happy I found him! David's communication is exceptional. I really enjoyed the process from start to finish.
