Ice Cream Lovers Scoop - Cocobolo Handle - Stainless Steel
Ice cream lovers, here is the ultimate scoop. This heavy duty ice cream scoop weighs ½ lb. It features a stainless steel scoop and exotic hard wood handle. The ample handle allows for firm grip and helps to scoop the frozen treat. I turned the cocobolo wood handle on my lathe. Cocobolo is hard and dense and it will darken some in the next few months. No dye or stain has been used on the wood! The wood handle measures 1 ¼" in diameter and is 5 ¾" long. The overall length of the ice cream scoop is 9 3/8". I coated the handle with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) which is durable water resistant finish. Other wood types are available and you may request a custom handle made in your favorite wood. You may even design your own handle on ¼" scale graph paper, email mail me the details and I will duplicate it.
