Music Conductors Baton - Handmade- Cocobolo Wood And Poplar Wood Tip
Made with tropical hardwood. Great gift for a favorite music teacher! Overall length: 12" to 14" your choice Handle length: 2 5/8" Handle width at widest point : 7/8" Shaft diameter: 1/4" tapers to 1/8" I turned this music conductors baton on my wood lathe. The handle is a cocobolo wood and the shaft is made of poplar. Both the handle and wood shaft are epoxy glued together. The handle is finished with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) which is hard durable and water resistant finish. The baton shaft is finished with a water based clear finish.
