Great gift for a favorite music teacher! Overall length: 12 to 14" your choice Handle length: 2 3/8" Handle width at widest point : 7/8" Shaft diameter: 1/4" tapers to 1/8" Comes bubble wrapped and in a mailing tube. I turned this music conductors baton on my wood lathe. The handle is a padauk and the shaft is made of birch wood. Both the handle and shaft are epoxy glued together. The baton is finished with a water based top coat and will remain clear over time. Have a favorite wood type or require a different length baton?
