Music Conductors Baton - Handmade- Ebony Handle And Curly Maple Tip
Overall length: 12 or 14" Handle length: 2 7/8" Handle width at widest point : 7/8" Shaft diameter: 1/4" tapers to 1/8" Comes bubble wrapped and in a mailing tube. I turned this music conductors baton on my wood lathe. The handle is a Gabon ebony wood and the shaft is made of curly maple. Both the handle and wood shaft are epoxy glued together. The handle is finished with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) which is hard durable and water resistant finish. The baton shaft is finished with a water based clear finish. Both top coat finishes remain clear over time. Great gift for any music teacher or graduate student! You may choose from stand lengths of 12 and 14" and shaft wood types of Birch or Curly Maple.
