Knife is made and ready for immediate shipping. Handle is made from tropical hardwood. Wood color is natural. I am a woodworker not a meta smith so I leave the knife blade making to others. My job is to make a beautiful handle for your knife blade. I started with figured Macassar Ebony wood (black with faint brown swirls). I attach the wood handle with three concealed brass pins and epoxy glue. I shape and then sand the wood handle silky smooth with up to1500 grit sand paper. I finish the handle with Tru oil (hard gun stock varnish) which makes the richness of the wood grain and color come out and gives a natural look. This fixed blade is made commercially by Wood River Knives from 5/32" thick 6A high carbon stainless steel. This knife is 6" overall length and 2 1/4". For knife shipments in the USA; I use USPS Priority mail. Handmade knife sheath is included in purchase price. Sheath will slip onto a belt up to 1 3/4" wide. The knot type is called snake or diamond knot. Pull the first knot through the loop on the sheath and the knife will stay with the sheath.

For Spear Point Hunter's Knife - Stainless Steel Blade - Handmade Cocobolo Wood HandleThe blade and handle are fantastic. All aspects of the experience were outstanding. Charles was really friendly and communicated well. Between the messaging, and pictures, I knew exactly what I was getting. He was even kind enough to make a left-handed sheath for me.
