Music Conductors Baton - Handmade-Cocobolo Wood Handle And Poplar Wood Tip
Great gift for a favorite music teacher! Overall length: 12" to 14" Handle length: 2 1/4" Handle width at widest point : 7/8" Shaft diameter: 1/4" tapers to 1/8" Comes bubble wrapped and in a mailing tube. I turned this music conductors baton on my wood lathe. The handle is a cocobolo wood and the shaft is made of poplar wood. The cocobolo wood handle is finished with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) which is hard durable and water resistant finish. The baton shaft is finished with a water based clear finish. Both top coat finishes remain clear over time. Have a favorite wood type or require a different length baton? Let me know what you are searching for.
