Square body/shaft walking cane overall length is 36". This cane is made of tropical and domestic hardwoods. This cane can be shorten up to 2" to 34 1/4". Small insect blemish in cane handle last photo. Very strong and sturdy, the cane handle is made of Macassar Ebony and the cane shaft is Black Walnut (American wood). The cane measures 36 1/4" in length and the handle has a comfortable feel in the palm of the hand (handle measures 6" length, 1 " width, 2" height). Wood color is natural and the top coat finish oil varnish. This low luster finish bonds directly to the wood molecules. No maintenance. The rubber tip (7/8") and replacements are found at drug or medical supply stores. The handle and box shaped shaft are joined with mortise and tenon which extends 1 3/4" into the handle. #85

The blade and handle are fantastic. All aspects of the experience were outstanding. Charles was really friendly and communicated well. Between the messaging, and pictures, I knew exactly what I was getting. He was even kind enough to make a left-handed sheath for me.
