Walking Stick / Walking Cane - Curly Maple - Black Walnut - Ebony Spacer- 43
Cane can be shorten up to 6" to 37". This walking stick/cane top is made of Curly Hard Maple and the shaft is Black Walnut spacer is Ebony wood. The cane measures 43" in length. The top section is 6" length and diameter of the knob is about 2". Wood color is natural and the durable top coat finish is CA glue finish commonly used by wood turners. The shaft of the cane is tapered; the rubber tip (7/8"), and replacements are found at drug or medical supply stores. The handle and shaft of the cane are joined with a steel dowel screw and epoxy glue making a very strong joint. I make these spindle type canes on the long side so they can be used like walking sticks. Not only are walking sticks/canes good for steadiness but they can also be used as a tool for personal protection. International shipping can be expensive because of the length of the package.
