Skinner Knife - Cocobolo Wood Handle - Stainless Steel Blade - Black Leather Sheath

$100

Handle is made from tropical hardwood. Wood color is natural. I am a woodworker not a metalsmith so I leave the knife blade making to others. My job is to make a beautiful handle for your knife blade. I started with Cocobolo wood, then attached the wood handle with three concealed brass pins and epoxy glue. I shape and then sand the wood handle silky smooth with up to 1500 grit sand paper. I finish the handle with Tru oil (hard gun stock varnish) which makes the richness of the wood grain and color come out and gives a natural look. This fixed blade knife is made from 5/32" thick 6A high carbon stainless steel. The knife is 6" overall length, blade length 2 1/4", blade width 1 1/16". For shipping in the USA; I use USPS Priority mail. Handmade knife sheath is included in purchase price. Sheath will slip onto a belt up to 1 3/4" wide. The knot type is called snake or diamond knot. Pull the first knot through the loop on the sheath and the knife will stay with the sheath.
