Custom Walnut & Steel Kitchen Island, Metal Kitchen Island, Industrial Kitchen Island
Like most of my projects, this industrial kitchen island was a custom request. This client requested a high end industrial look for her kitchen/great room centerpiece. She needed an island that would not only be a conversation piece, but could function as a kitchen island that would accommodate comfortable seating and storage for pots and pans. This has an amazing solid dark walnut wood top that is 1.5 inches thick finished with mineral oil so it stays food safe (no veneer here). The base is seriously strong steel finished with a black metal patina and inset mesh grate giving it that modern industrial look built with quality materials that will last more than a lifetime. The casters are cast iron with a thick rubber tread to protect floors and make it easy to rearrange for dinner parties. The overall size of this island was 5 foot x 5 foot and 36 inches high. Any size or variation can be made as everything I do is custom. *The Current Wait Time Is 6-8 weeks I create and design high quality original industrial furniture. The furniture I design and construct is of the highest quality and is custom designed to meet your needs. My pieces are not made with thin cheap metal that will bend or look factory made. I do not just throw things together and barely weld them like some other "furniture artists" I have seen pop up. The pieces I create are built to withstand the test of time and will be around for generations.

For Industrial steel and reclaimed wood desk4.8Justin was so easy to work with and he does incredible work. I based my design off of a Restoration Hardware desk that I fell in love with, and he did it cheaper and better. He also worked with me to add a design element (a reclaimed walnut top) that my husband really wanted. The quality of the craftsmanship is amazing. I love the desk and I can't wait to use it. My only piece of feedback is that Justin should find a delivery service that uncrates the furniture and brings it into your house. We had to hire a separate guy to do that for us.
