Custom L Shaped Reception Desk / Metal & Wood Desk / Reclaimed Beetle Kill Wood Top
This is the third custom L shaped reception desk we built from Surround Architectures designs for Boulder Brands in Boulder, Colorado. The original two were built in 2013 for Boulder Brands initial build on Pearl Street. The last was was built in 2015 for their expansion into the public tasting room. During the 2015 expansion Real Industrial Edge Furniture built this reception desk, eight custom designed bistro table bases, and a substantial 16 foot long farm table. This desk features a solid 1.5" thick reclaimed beetle kill pine top finished with a natural graying product. The base is a steel frame with inset sheet metal, inset mesh, and suede finished panels. The beauty is in the details with custom brackets, blacksmith bolts, a custom steel faced file cabinet, and cast iron casters. Being a local project, we have had the opportunity to see this massive project come together over the last tree years and we are proud to have our handmade products in such a beautifully designed space. The furniture I design and construct is of the highest quality and is custom designed to meet your needs. My pieces are not made with thin cheap metal that will bend or look factory made. I do not just throw things together and barely weld them like some other "furniture artists" I have seen pop up. The pieces I create are built to withstand the test of time and will be around for generations.

For Industrial steel and reclaimed wood desk4.8Justin was so easy to work with and he does incredible work. I based my design off of a Restoration Hardware desk that I fell in love with, and he did it cheaper and better. He also worked with me to add a design element (a reclaimed walnut top) that my husband really wanted. The quality of the craftsmanship is amazing. I love the desk and I can't wait to use it. My only piece of feedback is that Justin should find a delivery service that uncrates the furniture and brings it into your house. We had to hire a separate guy to do that for us.
