The Old Vine "Malvasia" vanity light is handcrafted from retired Napa wine barrel rings and local grapevine. Each grapevine is kiln dried and sanded before being sealed with 3 coats of clear UV sealer to protect it for a lifetime of enjoyment. Once the vine is prepared, we attach two of our Manacle pendants carefully hand-formed from salvaged wine barrel rings. The effect is truly delightful. These grapevines come from Opus 1 in Napa and I was very lucky to get them several years ago. They were widening the fire roads and I happened to be at the right place, right time. I dont have very many so dont wait! The rings for the pendants come from Rutherford and Stags Leap and have beautiful patina. INCLUDES: fixture, all mounting hardware plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat! DIMENSIONS: APPROX 10" TALL X 36" WIDE X 8" DEEP (projecting from wall) SOCKET: (2) standard E26 sockets fully dimmable. WATTAGE: 60w max each, 120W max total. MATERIAL: Retired Napa wine barrel rings and grapevine. BULBS: Regular, florescent or LED and fully dimmable. BULBS NOT INCLUDED. This fixture is now UL Certified Thanks for visiting!     We enjoyed our custom made grapevine coffee table until we discovered it was infested with wood-eating beetles. An exterminator confirmed these beetles reside in the wood. The table was not salvageable and the bugs destroyed the rug beneath the table. The maker refused to respond to my request for remediation. Before considering spending thousand of dollars on any product from this maker, I strongly urge you to take heed of the following response from Custom Made Support: "The listing clearly stated that the product is made from recycled materials. As such the maker had no way of knowing that the materials used to create your table were infested with bugs."

    For Bordeaux - Grapevine Salt And Pepper Grinders

    All went fine, except that it isn't clear which grinder is for salt and which is for pepper. The one with the black grinding handle has plastic grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for salt. The one with the chrome grinding handle has metal grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for pepper. If this is correct, it seems odd to use chrome for pepper and black for salt.
