Wine Barrel Art And Wall Light - Hehku - Made From Retired California Wine Barrels And Rings
I've always been captivated by the character of these retired wine barrel rings; at quick glance, they're all pretty similar, but when you look closely you start to see just how diverse they are, and how much they've been affected by their life holding a barrel together. Our team of talented artists decided to make a chandelier that celebrates this variety of texture and dimension. We cut dozens of Opus 1, Rutherford, Luna and other wineries barrel rings into small pieces then carefully weld them together to make a shield that reflects the light sideways and makes a warm glow against the wine barrel wood. Some have likened its industrial vibe to steampunk, but its rugged simplicity looks great whether the bulb's on or off. Beautiful yet functional, this art piece has 2 standard lights (60W each max and fully dim-able) behind the wine barrel ring shield art which is made from hundreds of wine barrel rings carefully cut and welded together. The back is constructed of a retired Cabernet wine barrel carefully taken apart, dried, then cut into strips before being assembled and screwed together. These barrels comes from our famous Napa wineries and are completely 100% recycled and salvaged. Beautiful and elegant, it highlights the dark red wine color and the graceful curve of the barrel itself. Securely bolted together and covered in several layers of a clear UV sealer, it is ready to hang in your wine cellar or to bring wine country into your home or business. For Vinya - Alionza - Old Vine Grapevine Coffee Table1.5We enjoyed our custom made grapevine coffee table until we discovered it was infested with wood-eating beetles. An exterminator confirmed these beetles reside in the wood. The table was not salvageable and the bugs destroyed the rug beneath the table. The maker refused to respond to my request for remediation. Before considering spending thousand of dollars on any product from this maker, I strongly urge you to take heed of the following response from Custom Made Support: "The listing clearly stated that the product is made from recycled materials. As such the maker had no way of knowing that the materials used to create your table were infested with bugs."

For Bordeaux - Grapevine Salt And Pepper Grinders4.2All went fine, except that it isn't clear which grinder is for salt and which is for pepper. The one with the black grinding handle has plastic grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for salt. The one with the chrome grinding handle has metal grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for pepper. If this is correct, it seems odd to use chrome for pepper and black for salt.

For Wine Barrel Ring Edison Bulb Pendant Light4.7Working with Michael was very easy. Some mods were required for our application of this lamp, which Michael was able to accommodate very easily. There was a small delay in getting shipped across the border, but once that was worked out, (without using a broker or added cost), the courier delivered our item in a few days. I love the "imperfections" and the lack of symmetry. It gives it that beautifully put together look that "homemade" has to offer. I don't know who made it, but I can see their skill and personality. Blends perfectly- NOT obnoxious, NOT too big, and definitely not something I will get tired of looking at. EVER. (I really cannot rate the expertise and value of this product since I don't know what it took on the other end in terms of time and skill. Bottom line, I am happy with the product for the amount I paid).
