Hello my name is Michael, and I am a bibliophile. Really. I have about 20,000 books and constantly looking for bookends for my library, particularly fun ones to give a little color and texture to the collection. After a night of drinking brandy in the shop with some of my other amazing artists, we came up with these fun yet functional bookends. These little guys get more attention than anything else! We love creating new and fun art and our new line of wine bots is a quirky twist on recycling barrel rings. We bend and shape the rings (by hand!!), then each one is carefully welded and this little guy springs to life. Modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic. Stylishly sexy, and completely made from recycled wine barrel rings. This is functional art and a delight to have. We also have a bunch more Wine Bots in different poses, including doing different sports. If you have an idea for one, let us know! We love a challenge. The rings are all bent by hand (you should see our forearms) and then carefully welded into the bots. Each one will be slightly different as we never make the same thing twice. Picture this in your wine cellar or even in your beautiful garden or on the patio. Big enough to make a statement, it's small enough to be in a small entry way as well, bringing the charm of wine country into your home, and is the perfect touch behind a couch. We do make these slightly smaller and also much larger. If you need a specific size just let us know and we will be happy to create it for you. We love a challenge!
