The GANIVET is a magnetic, barrel stave knife holder crafted from 100% recycled Napa wine barrels. Each barrel is cut and dried for up to a year before it is sanded and finished with a food safe mineral oil. Re-oil the board occasionally and it will last a lifetime. As a seasoned cook, I buy the expensive magnets as I have a lot of heavy knives. These pull 18 pounds each to hold even your most heavy knives. For Wine Rack --5.0The wine rack came much sooner than I had anticipated- it as a nice surprise (not to say I would be upset had it arrived on the anticipate "due date"). I love the "imperfections" and the lack of symmetry. It gives it that beautifully put together look that "homemade" has to offer. I don't know who made it, but I can see their skill and personality. Blends perfectly- NOT obnoxious, NOT too big, and definitely not something I will get tired of looking at. EVER. (I really cannot rate the expertise and value of this product since I don't know what it took on the other end in terms of time and skill. Bottom line, I am happy with the product for the amount I paid).

For Bordeaux - Grapevine Salt And Pepper Grinders4.2All went fine, except that it isn't clear which grinder is for salt and which is for pepper. The one with the black grinding handle has plastic grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for salt. The one with the chrome grinding handle has metal grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for pepper. If this is correct, it seems odd to use chrome for pepper and black for salt.
