Handcrafted from locally sourced Napa wine barrel rings in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite lighting collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, our extensive collection is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own! The WIVA "Kotak" is a pendant that transforms its raw materials into a soft, romantic light fixture. Crafted from retired Napa wine barrel rings, you can see the beautiful patina after many years of happy winemaking. Reminiscent of the Craftsman design period at the end of the 19th century, The Kotak produces wonderful light, delightful shadows and fabulous texture. Modern and chic yet wonderfully rustic, each is handmade from recycled materials. We bend the wine barrel rings by hand (you should see our forearms!) and carefully weld it together to create a shape that reflects the light. Some have said this has a steam-punk vibe to it, but we prefer the term "timeless." Simple and serene, it looks great on or off. We work with a lot of interior designers and several of the projects needed something really different and yet modern / industrial while keeping a fun vibe. This line of lighting is truly one of a kind. We hand cut retired wine barrel rings and carefully weld them together to make a cube that lets tons of light through and makes a design statement. Its rugged simplicity looks great with the bulb on or off. Your choice of plain pendant cord (pictured) or cord and chain. SOCKET: E26 base incandescent or LED bulb max 100W max , dimmable.     We enjoyed our custom made grapevine coffee table until we discovered it was infested with wood-eating beetles. An exterminator confirmed these beetles reside in the wood. The table was not salvageable and the bugs destroyed the rug beneath the table. The maker refused to respond to my request for remediation. Before considering spending thousand of dollars on any product from this maker, I strongly urge you to take heed of the following response from Custom Made Support: "The listing clearly stated that the product is made from recycled materials. As such the maker had no way of knowing that the materials used to create your table were infested with bugs."

    For Bordeaux - Grapevine Salt And Pepper Grinders

    All went fine, except that it isn't clear which grinder is for salt and which is for pepper. The one with the black grinding handle has plastic grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for salt. The one with the chrome grinding handle has metal grinder parts, which makes us think it should be for pepper. If this is correct, it seems odd to use chrome for pepper and black for salt.

    Wow is all I can say. Michael was phenomenal. The product is perfect and service amazing. It did arrive slightly damaged but Michael paid to ship it back and had it repaired. Then I had to have it shortened because I ended up having a smaller space than anticipated and he took care of everything! Highly recommended.
