Extremely Captivating, it may be difficult to let go… Handcrafted from locally sourced Opus 1, Rutherford and Stags Leap Napa wine barrels in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite wine furniture collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. After years of making amazing wines (which I'm SURE you have enjoyed) these barrels are retired and taken to my shop to take on mew life as art and furniture. Carefully taken apart and dried for up to a year before it is sanded and finished with natural organic food grade Tung oil to protect it for a lifetime of use. The "Barana" handrail is standard only in length. It has remarkable movement in each piece drawing the eye upwards on a staircase. Years of wine producing have aged this wood with all the striations of color from drawing the rich wine. Each piece is hand stripped and sanded silky smooth. These retired wine barrels have brought joy to millions of wine drinkers, and although their wine making days are behind them, their distinctive character lasts on. With some careful shaping and finishing, each piece becomes a work of art suitable for warming the heart of a true wine lover. INCLUDES: 1 x Barana Handrail, all mounting hardware*, plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat! *We send at least 1 mounting bracket for every 2 feet of handrail length, you could use them all or just a few. DIMENSIONS: Width: 2-3 inches, Length: 2' through 18' lengths. Anything over 7' is shipped in two or three sections to be assembled in the field. I can custom make them any length. Assembly is easy! See video How-to link below. MOUNTING: Can be mounted vertically or horizontally (wide side or narrow side up or down). Depending on the length you may see the lid groove on the same side, or on opposite sides of the handrail. Some lengths end up being an "S" shape and some lengths end up being an "M" shape. **See above photos. THIS IS TOTALLY NORMAL and has nothing to do with mounting the handrail, it is just an part of the overall design and aesthetic. To keep the price down I ship anything over 7' in 2-3 pieces otherwise it ships freight and that gets pricey quick. It takes less than 5 min to attach and install, just the time for a quick cocktail.
