Amber Pendant

I owe my carving career to my mother. She made me peel potatoes when I was a kid and bored with the task I made little figures and animals. She allowed me to practice - and ate without complains a lot of mashed potatoes during this time…

For some time I carved stone and wood until one day, about 30 years ago, someone sold me a piece of fossil mammoth tusk at a flea market. This opened a new world of possibilities and beauty for me and ever since I am in love with this wonderful material.

I had never thought of me being an ivory carver for I am an elephant lover and fiercely protective of them. But the woolly mammoth are long gone and carving their tusks helps to protect the few precious elephants we still have.

You can order custom made jewelry, spiritual art, statues, bookmarks, cufflinks, knifes, historic chess sets and/or you can make me realize your own design. As you can see I can work within a great variety of styles. You can chose between Fossil Mammoth, Bone, Tagua Nut, Leather, Wood, Silver, Bronze, Copper and Steel, Amber, Mother of Pearl, Warthog Tusk - or a combination of all!

I am happy to help you to bring your creations and ideas to life. We will communicate and work together and create beautiful pieces of art that express your personality and/or your feelings toward a person you love.

If you decide to want ivory I guarantee very piece will be made from legal Mammoth. Every piece I have has been found in the permafrost 20 years ago. There will be no replenishing of that supply.
No elephant or endangered species was ever been killed or harmed for my art!
