Hopper Tables
These coffee tables are made of 3/4" birch plywood, CNC cut, with various parametric patterns. No mechanical fasteners are used, all connections are tabbed/pocket cut and glue with a layer of shelves below the table surface for added support. Some tables are stained while all tables are sanded smooth and clear coat finished.

I am an architecture professor who specializes in digital fabrication, rapid prototyping and parametric modeling. I'm interested in the application of CNC fabrication equipment within the architectural design field. In my spare time I have a hobby of designing and fabricating various furniture pieces and wooden toys utilizing the CNC equipment.
