Reclaimed Desk Top
This desk was made of reclaimed oak from an old feed house once located in southeastern Indiana. All boards were kiln dried, stripped of old nails, surfaced, joined, and sanded. A finish of Danish oil was then applied to bring out the natural color while protecting the surface. The client then added his own legs made from plumber's pipe for a unique finish.

I am an architecture professor who specializes in digital fabrication, rapid prototyping and parametric modeling. I'm interested in the application of CNC fabrication equipment within the architectural design field. In my spare time I have a hobby of designing and fabricating various furniture pieces and wooden toys utilizing the CNC equipment.
