Slab Top Cedar Hope Chest
Traditional hope chests make useful storage compartments and room accents to a home. This slab top hope chest is made entirely of lovely, aromatic cedar wood, which I use a lot in my custom woodwork. It includes adjustable slide inserts and metal banding at the bottom of the chest for extra support.

Jul 20, 2015Terry was great to work with - had multiple requirements for treads depending on the location on the stringer. He delivered just as requested. Communication thru-out the project was fantastic - he replied quickly and often. Treads were carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. Would I work with him again? I guess the answer is definitely yes as he also completed another set of treads and the rail caps for me!

From initial engagement, he was eager, responsive and guided us through all the questions we had about our piece. Our piece, which was an oversized coffee table - and rather unique - required someone with top caliber craftsmanship, and an eye to detail. Terry was the perfect guy for the job. After delivery, I can honestly and confidently say we made the right decision, and will definitely work with him again on future projects. P.S. When we say unique, the piece was a 68" x 62" coffee table and that was a beast to ship, but Terry packed it up perfectly. Apparently, no job too big! Thanks Terry!
