This lovely wooden chest is truly a work of art. It is small but has so much character! I used hickory and Indonesian bubinga to create a beautiful contrast of light and dark hues. I added a slight arch to the top and bottom parts of the box to enhance its simple design. The entire piece is sanded and given an orange oil finish. I also gave it a thin coat of Minwax for added shine. The lid is attached to the body through metal hinges. This chest measures 4 ¾" x 4 ½" x 4 ¾".
