Frankly, I'm disappointed. I assumed Terry Stone would have used biscuit joinery. He used pocket joinery. Nothing wrong with this method if you don't see it, for example. Joining legs to a table top underneath where you don't see the pocket holes. The pocket holes are very visible from inside these cabinets. We didn't discuss this before the project was started, but he was presented as a professional cabinet maker. There are no cabinets built this way from any furniture store, even inexpensive ones. I would not use Terry again. T.G.

We absolutely love our new console! Terry was a pleasure to work with, and he did an amazing job. It was exactly what we wanted and the quality of construction let's us know this will be a piece we will own for a very long time. We highly recommend Terry and The Stockton Mill to anyone.

I am pleased with the result of the desk surface. It's what I wanted for the most part. I feel I could have described the project better though. The attached photo is the end result. I'm satisfied, and I can reuse the legs for something else later on. Terry seems to be a good craftsman, but I feel due to my budget on this project it was done very quickly, and the quality seems to have suffered as a result. But I would work with him again, and if I did I'd make sure to describe more about what I want.

Worked with Terry on another project and this too was a success. I would have liked a bit more consistency on the coloring on the face vs the main tread, but that simply may be difficult/near impossible due to the wood grain. On the whole though this was a great project - excellent communication - timely and frequent. Final product was delivered a bit later than initially planned but the extension was agreed to before the due date. He was flexible as I had a few minor changes that he incorporated as well. I was provided with a color match sample so I could confirm final color before staining - very helpful. Very pleased with the end result!

Terry was excellent to work with. He kept the cost low and provided exceptional quality. The only problems came from a miscommunication in measurements from me and Terry was willing to take care of the problem without any hesitation. I did not know Terry before using CustomMade and I would not hesitate to use him again. Quality experience all the way through. Cons for CustomMade: Shipping was relatively low for the size and weight, but it was more than I thought it would be. I would just caution in general if you are using CustomMade and having a unit shipped cross country like I did, make sure you estimate the cost of shipping ahead of time. And get the measurements perfect the first time!
