If you're looking for a unique gift for a dear friend, then look no further because this lovely keepsake box will surely do the trick. Using solid oak, I gave this piece an interesting hexagonal shape to make it different from conventional boxes. When you open the lid, you will see the log rings on the surface of the rim – really pretty. Even the natural cracks on the pine base add a rustic charm to the box. I applied a coat of maple stain to give the piece a natural luster. This box measures approximately 5 ½" in height, length, and width.
