Repurposed Bible Box In Ash And Oak
It's hard not to appreciate the beauty of this Bible box. The oak planks I used to make this box give it a solid look and sturdy construction. I got the wood from old desks that were ready to be thrown out – how lucky am I? I used old-school joinery methods to complement the rustic look of the wood, and then applied a coat of Danish oil to the box when it was finished. Not only will this box keep your Bible safe, but it will also make a lovely display piece on your nightstand. This piece has a length of 12", width of 12", and height of 4".
