I was approached by my horse veterinarian to make a custom wine rack in his kitchen. It seems that when he moved into his house there was a gap between the kitchen cabinets over the sink. There was no connecting cabinet and no window, just an odd bare expanse of wall. So he wanted to incorporate his love of horses with his fondness for wine. His wife was not to be left out, so with her input we included flora and fauna, such as roses and leafy vines, snails, butterflies and dragonflies. The wine rack is constructed from hot rolled mild steel combined with new horse shoes. The finish contains the grays, blues and burnished hues of torch coloring. It also has elements that are brass brushed patina. The entire piece is finished with a clear acrylic laquer. The wine rack holds 16 bottles. No wine rack of this size is complete without sliders for the wine glasses. It holds up to 14 wine glasses. A decorative shelf on the top of the wine rack provides additional functional storage or display space. The entire piece simply drops into position, and is held in place by the lip on top of each side of the cabinets. An important design component was portablity. This wine rack will be the focal design element when the vet builds his new house. Keywords: wine rack, metal, horse shoes, kitchen, steel, ornamental

For Branding IronWe could not have been happier with Jim (who made our brand) or his work. From the beginning he was quick to respond to our questions. He made a brand that was exactly what we discussed! Truly amazing. Jim also completed the project extremely fast and sent it via fedex...getting it to my dad before his birthday. I can't say enough good about the whole process. Really very pleased. I know there are many companies to choose from for your project but please choose Jim from Forge on Metalworks. He will be everything you are hoping for:)
