This is Truly one of a kind and, to our knowledge, it is the only genuine Blue Coral fountain pen available anywhere. Handcrafted from Genuine Blue Coral, a treasure from the seas along southern Asia. Blue Coral is famous for it's pale to indigo blue color & white swirls. This particular coral feature two veins which splatter sparks of yellow from end to end. The Cap is made from Authentic Casien. Casein is naturally derived from milk proteins, creating this attractive ivory and off-white striping. This Fountain pen is dressed in Rhodium with Black titanium trim on center, and at both ends. Accepts International Ink Cartridges, and included Piston Convertor. Hand Tuned 6mm Polished Nib from Bock, the Leader in Quality Nib Production. his Piece of Blue Coral is completely stable, and sealed with a topcoat for a lifetime of use. **Blue coral is part of the non endangered species of corals known as melithaea sponge, which is commonly found on the ocean floors around the waters of Taiwan, Indonesia and southern China. We had some trouble finding the pen blank I wanted, but fortunately I stumbled upon a web site that offered hundreds of blanks and Justin ordered the one I liked. Once the project finally got rolling he did a great job of discussing my options. He even video taped the turning process, describing the steps. The pen was shipped and arrived within days of completion. The results were as impressive as expected and fairly priced. I would highly consider working with him again in the future.
