Family Tree Book

$300

This book is a visual representation of my family tree. One side of the tree is my mother's side, my father on the other. It is made in case-bound codes style (hard cover and spine) and the interior pages are made of several different sizes of accordion folds that eventually extend to 3'. The book is 9"x5" when closed. The paper was chosen specifically because it resembled wood. All pages were hand cut to size. All the photos used were printed using Epson 80 year archival inks. All text (and tree images) were hand transferred, one at a time, using a burnishing technique with environmentally friendly Citre-Strip paint stripper and reversed photo copies. This book was part of an edition of 10, --5 of which were destroyed in a fire. Price for customization is dependent on number of branches, type of photos, number of text transfers, total number of books needed, etc.
