Every kid should have a tree house! Building a tree house can be cheap up to ridiculously expensive but the memories are priceless. By far this is one of my favorite projects. This tree house has been constructed out of materials left over from previous jobs as well as the base being reuse from a shed demo. The only thing that was purchased new were staples to hold on the tar paper and the cedar shingle siding. I prefer to build practical structures for kids and to reuse salvaged materials in the tradition of building a "Fort". The "Mini Cape" is situated in an old Silver Maple and the door on the outside does not open. The treehouse is accessed from a trap door and ladder behind the garage it is nestled over. The kids helped make the trap door and the ladder to finish it off and let the fun begin……but really it had already begun when the idea started to become a reality!

For Bar table/kitchen islandKeith was really great to work with. The table that I ended up with exceeded all my expectations. I could tell Kieth really enjoyed working with reclaimed materials, and making a peice of furniture. I was constantly kept in the loop, as Keith sent updates frequetly. I was invited to his workshop halfway through the process and perhaps most importantly his love for furniture making really came through!
