I am an artist, not a business. My style of painting is considered to be folk or surreal. As an untrained artist (I have never taken a lesson) I usually work (paint) in my 5th Wheel Camper and hang my paintings in my very little downtown gallery located in Bastrop, Texas, at 1022 Main Street.
Although I paint on wood and masonite board (creating self- hanging wall art), I especially like to paint on cool objects of practical purpose like furniture. I have also painted on floors, vehicles, fences and doors. I often paint on an object already owned by you, but I am able to purchase an object to paint on the your behalf. I prefer to paint on quality wood pieces, but they say I can do wonders with antique rusted metal chairs! I use a water-based, non-toxic acrylic paint and typically a polyurathane/acrylic sealer.

For Garden MailboxThe mailbox I had specially painted was incredible. The detail was excellent and my wife loved it. I just hope it holds up to the elements. Great job.

For Bluebonnet MailboxI am so thankful I came across Susan's work, as my own Bluebonnet Mailbox could not have been any better. From the moment the project began to delivery, Susan ensured that ever step of the process was top-notch. And the end product, simply beautiful. I would work with Susan again and again.

For Outdoor Bench with custom painting of triathlete swimming, biking, and running.Yes, this artist is very talented at the desired task, but more importantly, is empathetic to the client's needs and thinks well outside the box, which is desirable in commissioning a piece of art.

For Bookcase Handpainted Multicolored 4 ShelvesI am the type of person who can imagine what she wants to make but has no talent whatsoever to make it -- fortunately, Susan could tell exactly what I wanted with very little to go on! She produced a beautiful, solid wood bookcase with amazing designs on it, even better than I had imagined. She added some terrific surprise touches, too! Her communication was terrific, she worked with a very tight timeline, and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely work with her again!!!

For Bluebonnet MailboxIt was great working with Susan on this. She listened carefully to what I wanted and produced a beautiful piece (a mailbox with bluebonnets on for my Texan grandmother in law). It arrived 2 weeks before the deadline we'd agreed on, so I haven't given it to my grandmother in law yet, but I know she's going to LOVE it! As for 4 stars for communication, Susan isn't online 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so messages weren't always replied to absolutely immediately, but I was worse at this than her by far! (I hate to think what she'd rate me as for communication!) Everything else was a solid 5 stars. Thank you again, Susan!
