Harry Potter Inspired House Robes

Harry Potter Inspired House Robes

$150

Our handmade robes are made of a 70/30 poplin-wool blend. Just enough wool to be slightly water resistant but little enough that even the shop owner, who is very allergic to wool, can comfortably wear one. They are as accurate as legally possible to the 6th movie of a popular blockbuster series about wizards. They are durable and of a comfortable weight. Our robes are fully lined, including the arms and the hoods. They have 2 outer pockets that are tucked away into the seams along with a wand pocket on the inside. Wand pockets are currently placed for right-handed witches and wizards but could be changed upon request. (This will add to your processing time.) We currently have sizes Small thru 4X available and ready to ship in all colors. Please see below for chest measurements. All robes fit a standard height of 5'7" to 5'10". We can hem for your height but this will also add to your processing time. Because we believe in the quality of our work, all of our robes come with a 5-YEAR GUARANTEE. We will repair and replace our robes for any standard wear-and-tear and accidental damage at no charge to you. Simply return them to us. Please order according to the measurement chart below. All measurements are in inches and are taken at the bust/chest level. Custom sewing at its best! I do everything from basic mending to creating your dream wedding dress and everything in between. From cushions, to prom to curtains to Dance costumes, I can do it all.

I started sewing when I was in high school as a way to express my creative side. Both my mom and grandma were seamstresses and I found that I was pretty good at it too. While I never gave it up, life got to be hectic. We lost my younger brother when I was a senior in High School and then with college, getting married and having children it just got set off to the side.

Our first born was named Anthony Peter on January 8th, 2010. My aunt, who is determined to give every child born in my family a nickname, dubbed him Tony Bud (short for Anthony and Peter - my brother who we named him after and who had the nickname Bud - yes by the same aunt). Two months later my husband lost his job. In a way, I guess the saying "Necessity is the Mother of Invention" greatly applied to what would follow in our lives.

As it happened, my next door neighbor at the time needed new outdoor cushions made for her patio. I, in passing, said I knew how to make them. She was elated and went out that day, bought all the materials and wrote me a check for my service. It was at that point that I realized I could turn what was once a hobby into a business.

Later that same year, I started doing craft shows. We didn't have a name picked out yet for the business and when we were asked, my husband and I looked at each other and said "Tony Bud's". Thus Tony Bud's Sewing was born.

It has been 5 years now since I started sewing again on a full time basis. We now have three growing boys and run a "in town" farm with my parents. Our lives are full and very blessed.

I take great pride in what I make. For that reason alone, all of my projects always come with my personal satisfaction guarantee. You will always receive pictures of your item before final payment is due. Based on the measurements you send me, the item is guaranteed to fit. If alterations are necessary, I will cover the cost of said alterations.

I have helped to create stunning dresses for women, great coats for men, as well as something as simple as a blanket for a new mommy to be. I try not to limit myself in what I can do and I am always happy to work with anyone that needs custom work done. I strive to make your dream and vision a reality. I look forward to the years ahead and the many new people that my family and I will meet along the way.
