This lap quilt, both the front and back, was created from family heirloom table linens. Its lace, embroidery and various sections bring to mind the numerous family holidays and special occasions for which they were used. Similar quilts can be created in custom sizes and photos and other embellishments can be added.

My decorative art quilts are meant to be hung on your walls. I use hand-dyed and commercial fabrics, sometimes adding textural layers. A variety of embellishments (beads, crystals, charms, silk leaves, and various fibers) often grace my quilts, and photographs can be added to bring each quilt to life. Family tree quilts (photos) will accommodate size of family. I invite your creative input to meet your design requirements and vision. Each commissioned piece is one-of-a-kind.
