Sandstone Picture Rock Interlocking Chain
Handmade in Spring Valley, California by EvansSmithstudio
I chose a piece of Picture Rock, a type of sandstone with the criteria of color and shape to lend itself to the general shape I am looking to achieve. I then carved, chiseled and sandblasted this rock to become the piece you see before you. Each piece is unique not only in personality, but also in the look of the rock itself. As you can see I also make masks, bowls and other items. I can pretty much make whatever I can see in my mind.

As you can tell from the project pictures I can and do just about anything. I have always taken pride in making something out of nothing. I like to repurpose materials whenever I can. Right now my interests lie in making functional art, and I do enjoy using mixed mediums. I can build anything from furniture to clocks and lamps. I have made doghouses and cat trees. Let me know how I can best be of service and we will make it happen! Thanks EvansSmith
